Summary
Chapter 1: Death at the Needle : Carter and Sadie found out where the mother died when their father acts strangely with them and with a strange guy called Amos and he almost had a fight with him but he walked away also people disappear and appear in a matter of seconds .
Chapter 2: An Explosion for Christmas: The father goes to The London Museum with Sadie and Carter then he asks the kids to lock the Curator in his office them he starts doing strange things with something like a boomerang that makes the Rosetta Stone show blue hieroglyphics then it explodes with voices and a fiery man that told the father that he released 5 gods including him .
Chapter 3: Imprisoned with my Cat : After the Explosion the police comes and sends them home to investigate with Carter and Sadie . The police believes that the father died as a terrorist influenced by groups from Egypt and he asks the kids to say what happened and when they tell him the truth about the boomerang , the gods and hieroglyphics he doesn’t believe them and deports them to The U.S.A.
Chapter 4: Kidnapped by a Not So Stranger : The guy that almost had a fight with dad asked to take the kids and send them to live with him in The U.S.A. but the grandparents don’t want to send the kids with him and they start talking about Amos being the reason for deporting them and finally the grandparents send the kids with that Guy which turns to be the uncle of the kids Amos and he talks about a mansion that he owns in New York and arriving in New York in one hour which was true because they traveled with a boat through the Duat which made things much faster
Chapter 5: We Meet the Monkey : They arrive at the mansion and the great room . they found out that they are magicians and their father was a magician . Then they meet a monkey called Khufu that shows them their room and locks them and they sleep . While carter is sleeping his spirit travels to the duat to spy and the fiery dude talking to his minions saying that he is going to make a great storm on his birthday which might destroy North America .
Chapter 6: Breakfast with a Crocodile : When Carter wakes up , he gets a fancy breakfast nest to a crocodile an he gets to know that he had a really powerful magic that he couldn’t stay with his sister or a lot of problems will happen and what will happen if the storm happens and Amos jumps to investigate about the storm saying that Muffin will protect them and forbids them from going to the library.
Chapter 7: I Drop a Little Man on His Head : Sadie and Carte go to the library and they found information about Set , Osiris , Isis and they found their names written in a really old scroll with a title of the blood of pharaohs and they find their dad’s workbag and a little Shabti in it that answers to them a lot of questions like what happened to their dad .
Chapter 8: Muffin Plays with Knives : Khufu warns Carter and Sadie about serpopards ( Body of leopard , neck and head of snack ) . Khufu and the crocodile fought them but they lost so the cat Muffin transformed to a woman and sliced them then ran took carter and Sadie and ran away .
Chapter 9: We Run from Four Guys in Skirts : After all of the chasings , Bast , Sadie and Carter had to go away from the mansion using a car but four guys with skirts were chasing them so they had to get out of New York to summon more gods
Chapter 10: Bast Goes Green : After they were chased by then they had to run and Bast sliced the men but the scorpion goddess had a fight with Bast and carter and Sadie ran way .
Chapter 11: We Meet the Human Flamethrower : So after the kids ran to the temple , the alarm lights of the museum turned on because scorpions followed them to the temple . They tried to run away but they couldn’t until Zia ( The Arab girl from the museum ) showed them the temple to open a gate .
Chapter 12: A Jump Through the Glass : Zia protected them using some magic tricks and at the end she thought she killed the Scorpion goddess but she didn’t and the goddess even turned more powerful .
Chapter 13: I Face a killer Turkey : Zia opens the gate and sends them to Cairo airport and from their they get to the underground city of Egypt but they had to do a challenge and the guardian of the door called Carter a king .
Chapter 14: A French Guy Almost Kills Us : After they open the door , Zia shows them the city then she sends them to the house of life . Over there they meet a person known as Iskandar who didn’t really believe their story about the gods and says they have a test so they either pass or die . Zia shows them their rooms to sleep .
Chapter 15: A Godly Birthday Party : Sadie wakes up and goes to the haul of ages and sees the memories and she finds the story of the gods but when Iskandar touches her and he says she was about to die .
Chapter 16: How Zia Lost Her Eyebrow : After Sadie goes to sleep and in the next morning she wakes up and had 2 tests . One about the paper and the other one about the duel then Zia describes the power of magic and the temple of Thebes .
Chapter 17: A Bad Trip to Paris : Carter explains what happened in the day before the test when he couldn’t sleep and he wakes up and follows Zia to a secret room then Zia explained to him the pictures of this room . After that they go to Paris through a needle with sphinx fighting them until Bast slices them at Paris
Chapter 18: When Fruit Bats Go Bad : They find out that they are hosts to Horus and Isis and Desjardin’s is a host of Set . and to defeat Set they have to steel a book from Desjardin’s library so they broke into Desjardin’s library and stole a book but some fruit bats and men followed them asking for the book until Sadie opens a gate the U.S.A.
Chapter 19: A Picnic in the Sky : they arrive to the Washington monument and everybody eats then Sadie sleeps because she is tired .
Chapter 20 : I Visit the Star Spangled Goddess : Sadie’s ba travels the Nut the sky goddess which gives them the tickets to Memphis to find Thoth to explain to them the spell and she explained how Set was first on Egypt’s side then he turned to Chaos and finally Sadie wakes up and asks Bast to go the airport . At that time Set’s minion comes to follow them to the airport trying to kill them and Bast distracts him :
Chapter 21: Aunt Kitty to the Rescue: When Carter and Sadie arrive at the airport the officer stops them because Sadie was still in a bird form and birds are not allowed in airports until Bast comes in a form of Aunt Kitty and shows the officer a fake paper for a bird and they get on the plane . But Set’s minion came following them to the airport .
Chapter 22: Leroy Meets the Locker of Doom: Instead of running , Carter started fighting Leroy (Set’s Minion ) until he locked him in his imaginary locker and went to the plane were Bast hilled his hand with a sleeping medicine . Carter’s ba travels to Phoenix were he sees Set’s minions building the pyramid to create a big storm .
Chapter 23: Professor Thoth’s Final Exam: When they arrive at Memphis , Bast borrows a car then they arrive at a university where there is monkeys playing Basketball . They invited Carter to play but he wasn’t good . They find Thoth’s office but he said that he is not going to explain to them what are they supposed to do if they didn’t pass his test .
Chapter 24: I Blow Up Some Blue Suede Shoes: The test was at Elvis’s house were they had to look for an item of power . They went to his room , they found prizes but they did not find any item of power . Two magicians began following them and they had shotguns and when they shoot Carter he turned into a lizard and Sadie put him in her pocket. Sadie said a spell that turned the magicians into solid rocks because they were shabtis and she found the item which was a necklace.
Chapter 25: We Win an All Expenses Paid Trip to Death: After they finished the test , Thoth made them a picnic and he finally explained to them that they should find the feather of truth and Set’s secret name and she has to read a spell next to Set until she locks him somewhere in the duat . To get the feather of truth , they have to go to the hall of judgment to get the feather of truth so they summoned an Egyptian boat .
Chapter 26 :Aboard the Egyptian Queen: When they were on the board they ordered the captain to go to the hall of judgment. While they were traveling Bast explained how she got locked in the needle with the serpent and how she used to defeat him and how htier mother died and the promise . At the end Carter’s spirit travels to see what will happen if the storm happened .
Chapter27: A Demon with Free Samples: Carter wakes up when they arrive at the land of death . They face a guardian which is Iskandar to explain what exactly will happen to them then they go to the hall of judgment.
Chapter28: I Have a Date With the God of Toilet Paper: They arrive at the land of judgment after they see all kind of weird stuff . They see the dog that eats people’s hearts and Bast ran away because she got scared . The god came next to the dog so Sadie asked him to give her the feather of truth but he said no because the person that holds the feather of truth have to be honest all the time or she will be burned to ashes then at the end he said that he will give her the feather if she answered his three questions holding the feather and she did .
Chapter29: Zia sets a Rendezvous: They travel in a car to Phoenix . This ride was so quite because Bast was mad at herself because she didn’t protect Sadie and Carter . Carter went to the top and kept practicing his sword with Horus teaching him the moves . Zia’s pictures shows up to Carter and asked him to meet at Mexico and not to follow Amos because he is Set’s host but he didn’t believe her at that part .
Chapter30: Bast keeps a Promise: They arrive at a city near Zia’s city but near a river some crocodiles attack them . Carter tries to protect Sadie and Bast . Carter fails until the crocodile hits Sadie .Bast attacks the crocodile and she drags him under the water and they two die together and Amos shows up and sends Sadie to a saf place .
Chapter 31: I Deliver a Love Note: Sadie was sleeping next to Khufu in a desert place taking a rest where she had a Ba travel to Geb where she gave hi, a letter and he told her to go to the Land of Crosses .
Chapter 32: The Place of Crosses: When Sadie wakes up , she asked Amos to change their direction to Las Graces where they meet Zia and Desjardin had a fight with Amos and it ended up by Zia sending a fire column on Desjardin until he summoned a god .
Chapter 33: We go Into the Salsa Business: Zia , Carter and Sadie ran away but the goddess came and starting shooting fire and she never rests until she gets blood but Zia had an idea which was to give her spicy salsa until she slept .
Chapter 34: Doughboy Gives Us a Ride: They made a spell to make doughboy drive . Amos was following them to the pyramid . Zia and Sadie spoke about Set’s secret name and about the storm and about Amos because she believes he is Set’s host .
Chapter 35: Men Ask for directions (and Other Sign of the Apocalypse ): Sadie sleeps while she is in the truck and Isis spoke to her in her dreams about Set and his storm then when she woke up she had another conversation with Zia about of Amos is on their side or on set’s .side
Chapter 36: Our Family is vaporized: They arrived at phoenix and started fighting the demons. Amos was the one that ended up fighting all the demons. Sadie , Zia and Carter went to the red pyramid and closed the entrance . Amos came inside and turned red until he became Set .
Chapter 37: Leroy gets his Revenge: Set sits on his throne and explained how he took control over Amos and how he is going to take the 4 of them to make a bigger storm . Carter just knew that Zia was Nepthusus then they had a small fight with words and sometimes Set used his power to attack them but they used their power to protect themselves. At the end Carter and Horus unified their thoughts together.
Chapter 38: The House is in The House: After Horus and Carter unified their thoughts they were equal to Set until he became more powerful that he could kill them untill Zia shows up to help Carter and Horus .
Chapter 39: Zia Tells me a Secret: Sadie tries to nurse Zia and Amos while Carter was fighting Set. she wasn’t really good so she went to help Carter by releasing her father and when she touched the sarcophagus she saw a vision of a lot of people and her dad asking her to help Carter defeat Set instead of releasing Set .
Chapter 40: I Ruin a Rather Important Spell: Sadie helped carter and she read the spell but she didn’t finish it because they found that there was another god that was using Set to get more power so they made Set promise them to help defeat this god .
Chapter 41 : We Stop the Recording for now : Sadie and Carter are back at the mansion and everything is back to normal and they had a vision of their father and their mother on the throne of Osiris and Isis living in the duat enjoying their life and the gods gave them a gift of new cloth and stuff and Amos is going to Egypt to get help from his sickness .

Sadie: She has a british accent because she lived in England when she was six . light skin , straight caramel hair , red streaks from he hair , Blue eyes , 12 years old , annoying like hearing music , don’t follow rules , sometimes she gets so scared that she needs people next to her , not crazy about boys .
Carter: 14 years old , Born in Los Angeles , Started traveling with his father when he was 8 , homeschooled , he likes basketball , didn’t have a friend , he follows rules , some cases he is brave that he could sacrifice himself for other people .
Muffin: Fuzzy yellow and black fur , Yellow eyes , pointy ears , a silver Egyptian pendant on her neck .
Amos: His skin is brown , long hair , a magician , uncle of Sadie and Carter , brave he sacrifices himself , he wears mostly a suit and a fedora , he was controlled by Set .
Khufu: About 3 feet tall , gold fur , purple shirt , multicolored butt , likes adventures , Doesn’t like the music of Thoth , he can drice .
Bast: small , like gymast , black hair , skin tight leopard jumpsuit , she promised to protect Carter and Sadie and ashe did , she had knives on her wrest .
Plot
