Summary:

Chapter 1: A doctor called Dolittle was a doctor for humans but he bought a lot of animals until humans didn't come and he became the poorest man and he started selling piano and his suit to get money and and there was the cat food man that came to him onst christmasss and gave him 6 cents .

Chapter 2: Once the cat food man and he suggested that the doctor starts working as a vet and the parrot agreed too and taught the doctor how pet language and he became a really good vet that birds came from countries to talk to him .

Chapter 3: After the dotor became famous , a lot of animals came until a crocodile stayed at his house and no one came to the doctor because they were scared of the crocodile and the doctor became the poorest guy again and his siter left his house and the animals thought of doing the housekeeping for the doctor .

Chapter 4: While thay were sitting nest to the fire a monkey came and said that there is a horrible disease kiling hundeds of monkeys in Afica . The doctor first struggled to go to Africa but a sailor let him borrow his a boat and food .

Chapter 5: They sailed for weeks until they hit Africa and arrived but the mice were following them in the doctor's hat and a man ng him to go to the king .

Chapter 6: When they went to the king , he sent them to jail and didn't allow them to travel but then the parrot made the doctor's voice and ordered the king to let them free or he will king actually did   

Chapter 7: They ran in the forest for 2 days then they arrived at a side of a cliff and they had to get to the land of monkey so the monkeys did a bridge using each other .

Chapter 8: The doctor started working by vaccinating the good monkeys then he asked a lot of animals and the lion said that he is not going to help but when he came back , his son was tired so he asked the doctor for help then the lion helped the doctor until he was all done and wanted to go home so the animals had a big debate about the doctor , if he should leave or not .

Chapter 9: They decided to give a doctor a gift which was a Pushmi Pullyu , a rare animal . This animal proised to go with the doctor but if he didn't like England , he will go back and the doctor had a party after he packed up . The big gorrila placed a rock where the doctor was eating to remember the place where the doctor ate .

Chapter 10: The doctor travled in the forest untill he got lost . The king caught him and send him to jail again . When the price was in the garden ,to be a hero . The parrot acted like a fairy and ordered him to release the doctor nd he did and the doctor promised the prince to take him on an adenture when he grows up .

Chapter 11: The doctor ran into the ship without the crocodile  , the parrot and the monkey . The doctor soon realized that they  didn't have a guide but some birds came and siad that they would help the doctor .  on their way , thbey found a pirate's ship thta was chasing them so the birds tied a rope in their wings and the other side to the ship and they went so fast that the pirate's ship was lieka dot far away .

Chapter 12: The birds were tired so they took a rest on an island . A rat from the ship came and told the that the ship will sink and the doctor have to get another one . The doctor went to have a drink . The birds came and told him that the pirate's are steeling his hsip and the doctor has a good chance of steeling theirs .

Chapter 13: When the doctor was about to escape , the pirates caught him and they were about to steel his pets until their ship sunk and they sunk with it to . Their boss promised to ba a farmer if the sharks didn't eat him .

Chapter 14: They looked inside the pirate's ship and it was nice but ther was a little room closed and there a kid loked in it but he was sad and crying and went in he told them that he is crying because he lost his uncle .

Chapter 15: The doctor asked propoises to look for the uncle in the sea but he didn't find him . The eagles looked in te sky but he didn't the uncle , the dog went to look for the uncle using his smell .

Chapter 16: The doctor ade the dog look for days then when the wind came from the west , the dog said that he could smell the guy so the doctor followed him until they found the gy sleeping in a cave . 

Chapter 17: After they found the man, they went to the twon where he lived and stayed there for two days then the mayor came when they were about to leave and gave the doctor a watch made of diamonds and he dog , a collar made from gold printed on it , the cleverest dog in the world .

Chapter 18: He went back to his home and he became a showman then he got a lot of money to buy two ships for teh sailor and give to the foodstore food and buy a piano and he still had some money left .

African King and Queen : Sellfish and he thay hate the  English men .

Prince Bumpo: He could do anything to be a hero .

Plot :

Exposition : The author introduces us to the characters and Doctor Dolittle that is poor but he is the best vet in the world because he could talk pet language .

Rising Action : The doctor struggles to travel to Africa because there was a sickness and when he went he had a lot of problems over there .

Falling Action : The doctor finishes the last monkey . He struggled to get back tohis home country because of the pirates .

Solution : He steels the pirate's ship and go home to be a showman and get a lot of money to be rich .
